Congress is Raising YOUR Internet Bill... Dear Friend,
74 Democratic members of Congress just sold you out to AT&T, Verizon and Comcast.
They signed industry-backed letters telling the FCC to abandon efforts to protect Internet users by prohibiting big companies from blocking Internet traffic.
Not only is this letter an attack on net neutrality, but by signing the industry letter, they are attempting to drastically undercut the FCC's ability to make a fast, affordable and open Internet available to everyone in America. They are actually taking a position against the interests of rural and low-income communities. That is most of Lake County by the way... This is unacceptable.
We need to make sure these members of Congress know that their constituents are paying attention and will hold them accountable when they undermine net neutrality protections.
I just signed a petition to these 74 House Democrats telling them that I'm upset by their decision to side with the wealthy telecommunications corporations over their constituents. I hope you do, too.

It's time to organize and mobilize on the activities and issues surrounding our community, our nation, and our planet... So let's PLAN IT!!! We have infinite web resources at our disposal and probably the most internet savvy guy within an hours drive of here ready and willing to make things happen. Konocti.Org Welcomes NuNu Production & Design to the project. Kyle and Crystal focus on metal music graphology and will be helping build out the metal wing of our site... You can read more about them now at this link but expect to see them move in and take more space as they find time when they aren't busy making Lake County's rockinist fliers and graphics. More to come... Update Feb. 15, 2009 First we would like to thank konocti.org for letting us join the family. We are very excited on having our own wing of our site! We will be posting all types of things about the local music scene from different upcoming concerts, cd releases, artist info., and interviews of all your favorite Lake County bands and artist! Wow! A new president. Bush is on the way out. Everything is gonna change!!! No it's not... If you think the last election is going to change the world, you are sadly mistaken. I have seen the last 10 national and the last 20 state elections and shit only gets worse and if you think it matters who gets elected then you have NOT been paying attention to the news my friend. Not paying any attention at all... No wonder so many people have a feeling deep down inside that we are truly fukt... The only way to truly change the world is to start with yourself and your family and expand out to your neighbors and community. THINK GLOBALLY BUT ACT LOCALLY!!! YOU are invited to participate!
YOU KNOW you wanna do it. You might even think you know how and have some darn good ideas. Either way, if you want to make the world a better place, you are invited to participate in what could be the worlds most important project... Here is your chance to actually help change the world so much for the better... The science is solid... The methods are non-controversial... The results are revolutionary...What will this plan solve? 1. Energy. This plan eliminates dependence on foreign oil supplies. 2. Inflation. This plan will bring down the costs of gas and food and everything else.
